About Our Sliding Scale
In short, our Sliding Scale means: if you’ve enjoyed our events, learned something new, met some interesting people, you are invited to pay forward whatever amount works for you.
Some people find that way too vague, so here’s some guidance:
If money is tight, you are welcome to pay (or not) at the lower end of the scale. No questions asked. We’ve got you!
If you can afford to pay at the higher end of the scale, that helps us make our space and events accessible to a wider range of people.
Some of us have access to enough money to regularly eat out, buy fancy gadgets, go on vacations, etc. If this sounds like you, please consider contributing beyond the high end of the recommended scale. At the moment, one person is covering the gap between the money we bring in and what we pay for rent, utilities, insurance, equipment maintenance, taxes… and it would be sweet to share that load ❤
